Financial Administrator
Responsible to Executive Director
The Financial Administrator’s primary responsibility is to assist the Executive Director with administrative work. This includes working in an office environment with confidential material and complying with all confidentiality standards of the program. Applicant must be able to travel locally and within the state of Missouri to attend trainings and conferences. Applicant must be professional, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced demanding environment.

Responsibilities
- Miscellaneous office duties as required including but not limited to…
- Data entry and statistical tracking
- Understand and be familiar with all grants in order to guide shelter staff, ensure compliance, and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and monthly claims. This includes, but is not limited to DPS (VOCA, VAWA, SSVF, SASP) ESG, DPS, DVSS, CACFP, etc.
- Monitoring, verification, and computation of statistics for grants and other programs
- Assist with grant compliance and reporting
- Copying and assembling financial documents often under strict deadlines
- Turn in statistics, bi weekly timesheets, and monthly financial reports
- Pay bills, balance check books, and manage multiple accounts
- Work with Excel, Quick Books, & other database programs specific to the House of Hope
- Supply budget tracking and maintenance
- Ensure monthly and annual reporting for various agencies is complete and on time and compile fiscal year and calendar year reports
- Conduct employee payroll
- Keep all agency registrations up to date
- Collect appropriate HR documentation as needed such as W4’s, W9’s and 1099’s
- Assist Executive Director in monthly, yearly and projecting budget work
- Track donations and donor appreciation correspondences
- Track, report, and document Missouri Shelter Tax credit program
- Participates in all staff meetings, required conferences, and in-service training
- Keep all agency grant and board books updated
- Lead by example. Operate as a professional representing the organization at all times
Qualifications
- Must have proven administrative experience or knowledge
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must complete required training
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check
- Must have an understanding of the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence and/or victimization and be sensitive to the plight of battered women.
